Award-winning Dallas, Texas artist Jessie Frye has built an independent career through determination and an instinct for reinvention. Her breakout 2020 synth-pop album, Kiss Me in the Rain, reached a wider international audience and made Frye a familiar voice in modern synthwave. Her catalog includes fan favorite “Fantasy” and the widely embraced “Faded Memory,” with a music video that has reached more than five million views.
Known as a dynamic live performer, Frye has toured with FM-84 and Timecop1983 and shared the stage with artists including Pat Benatar, Beck and Phantogram. She has appeared at SXSW and, in 2016, was invited to perform for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders during his campaign. Her career has also included collaborations and co-writes with artists such as The Midnight and Ollie Wride.
Frye has been featured by The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and has shaped her sound alongside longtime producer and creative collaborator Matt Aslanian. She is currently recording her next album and will join The Midnight on select dates of their fall 2026 North American tour.
